1. What is GBIshops?
GBIshops is a multi-vendor marketplace designed to connect shoppers with verified vendors offering quality products and services. We promote trusted local and international businesses and deliver nationwide.

2. Do you sell your own products?
Yes, GBIshops lists some of our own products, but third-party vendors are the main sellers on the platform.

3. How secure is shopping on GBIshops?
We use trusted payment gateways (Paystack & bank transfers) and only release funds to vendors once orders are confirmed delivered.

4. Do you have customer support?
Yes, you can reach us by email at support@gbishops.com or via WhatsApp (during working hours).

Vendors

1. How do I become a vendor on GBIshops?
Vendors can register through our registration portal. After registration, we review your details, verify your business, and approve your account.

2. Is there a cost to join as a vendor?
Yes. Vendors pay:

  • ₦500 per product per year
  • ₦4,000 for up to 10 products per year
  • ₦7,000 for up to 15 products per year
  • ₦50,000 for more than 20 products per year

In addition, an 8% commission is charged per successful sale.

3. Do international vendors have a different fee structure?
Yes. International vendors pay $2 per listing and 12% commission per sale (currently on promotion).

4. How do vendors get paid?
Shoppers pay GBIshops directly. Vendors are paid within 10 working days after successful delivery of products, minus applicable fees.

5. Do vendors need to handle shipping?
Vendors can:

  • Use our third-party logistics partners for nationwide delivery.

6. Can vendors see customer details?
No. Shoppers only see your vendor shop name. Full customer details remain private, but vendors get necessary order info for delivery.

7. Do you verify vendors?
Yes. We verify your business, product quality, certificates (e.g., NAFDAC where applicable), and location before approval.

8. Do vendors get sales insights?
Yes. New vendors get 2 months of free sales and trend insights based on 2 years of e-commerce data.

Shoppers (Customers)

9. How do I shop on GBIshops?
Simply browse products by category, add items to your cart, and pay securely through Paystack or bank transfer.

10. Can I return a product if I don’t like it?
Yes. Shoppers have 7 days to return a product if they are unsatisfied (terms and conditions apply). Some items are non-refundable (e.g., perishables, intimate wear), but returns are allowed if the product does not match the description or images provided.

11. How are refunds processed?
Refunds are issued via the same payment method within 7–10 working days after approval.

12. Who handles shipping?
Our logistics partners. Delivery fees are calculated by product location and weight.

13. Do you guarantee quality?
Yes. GBIshops emphasizes quality products and verified vendors. Any vendor not meeting our standards will be removed.

14. Can I contact a vendor directly?
No. To protect privacy, shoppers can only communicate through GBIshops. Our support team helps resolve any issues.

15. What if there’s a dispute?
GBIshops mediates between shoppers and vendors. We review evidence (messages, receipts, product condition) and resolve disputes fairly.
