At GBIshops, we strive to make payments secure, transparent, and hassle-free for both customers and vendors.
GBIshops is a platform owned and operated by Global Brains Integral Ltd, a company duly registered in Nigeria. All transactions processed on this platform are the responsibility of Global Brains Integral Ltd.
This Payment Policy explains how payments are processed on our platform.
1. Payment Methods
Customers can pay for products and services on GBIshops using:
- Paystack (Debit/Credit Cards, USSD, Bank Transfer, Wallets, Mobile Money, etc.)
- Direct Bank Transfers to our designated company account
All payments are processed in Nigerian Naira (₦) for local transactions.
International transactions may be processed in United States Dollars (USD $) via Paystack where applicable.
2. Payment Flow
- Customers complete checkout and make payment via Paystack or bank transfer.
- Payments are confirmed before any order is processed.
- GBIshops verifies the transaction and notifies the vendor.
- Vendors prepare and deliver the order (via logistics partners or direct fulfillment).
- Upon successful delivery confirmation, GBIshops processes vendor settlement.
Vendor payouts are completed within 10 working days after confirmed delivery, subject to any disputes, refunds, or verification checks.
3. Vendor Commissions & Fees
- Vendor registration on GBIshops is free.
- A commission of 8% per successful sale applies (or 12% for international vendors, where applicable).
- Applicable fees are automatically deducted before vendor payouts are processed.
4. Refunds & Returns
- Refunds are only issued in accordance with our Delivery & Returns Policy.
- Customers must initiate refund requests within the eligible period stated in the policy.
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method or an alternative agreed method.
Refund processing timeline: 5–10 working days, depending on the customer’s bank or payment provider.
5. Security of Payments
- All electronic payments are securely processed via Paystack and are PCI-DSS compliant.
- GBIshops does not store sensitive card or banking details of customers.
- Customers are advised to only make payments through:
- Official Paystack checkout channels, or
- Verified company bank accounts
6. Payment Confirmation
- Customers will receive a confirmation email or notification once payment is successfully received.
- Vendors are notified once an order has been paid for and confirmed.
7. Failed, Reversed, or Pending Payments
- Orders will not be processed until full payment is received and confirmed.
- If a bank transfer is made without proper reference, customers must provide proof of payment for verification.
- Failed or reversed transactions will result in automatic order cancellation, unless resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Disputes & Chargebacks
- Customers may raise disputes by contacting our support team.
- We aim to acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve disputes within 3–5 working days.
- In cases of chargebacks, GBIshops reserves the right to:
- Investigate the transaction
- Suspend associated accounts where necessary
- Recover funds where fraud or abuse is detected
